The event space "Šķūnis" is one of the most beautiful venues in Riga's green gem – the University of Latvia Botanical Garden. Whether it's a celebration lasting a full day, a one-hour business conference, a formal reception, or an exhibition setup and opening – the event possibilities at Šķūnis are diverse.

The spacious, antique interior of Šķūnis and its courtyard offer event-hosting opportunities for larger and smaller groups. We have also considered guest comfort, so Šķūnis has additional spaces – visitor facilities and a multipurpose auxiliary room.

Paved areas near Šķūnis ensure easier access. An added value to any event is the ancient and well-maintained collections and blooming plants of the University of Latvia Botanical Garden, depending on the season. We are also proud of the Butterfly House, where visitors can experience tropical exoticism and enjoy the flight of colorful butterflies.

Free parking spaces are available for event organizers and visitors both in the territory and the parking lot near the Botanical Garden.

The dimensions of Šķūnis – the dance floor are 9x25 m, beam height 3 m, and ridge 5.90 m.

The event space has a drop-down screen measuring 3x4 m.
