Ethnographic holiday lodge GUNGAS
Ethnographic holiday lodge Gungas is a unique collection of authentic traditional Latvian wooden houses. Originally constructed in various parts of the country during the 19th century, they were carefully moved to their current location and now stand encircled by a pine forest at the shore of Lake Dūņezers.
In Gungas, the historical Latvian spirit still connects with nature’s powerful energy and up to date comforts. In this idyllic surrounding of peace and nature we offer you a place for recreation.
Gungas is also perfectly suited for all sorts of celebrations and meetings like conferences, seminars, workshops and retreats as well as events in Latvian folklore style.
Our guest house is located only 25 km from Riga.

"Godu Māja" hall with fireplace and terrace

On the first floor there is a hall with a fireplace and terrace, a fully equipped kitchen, as well as utilities. Thanks to the wide terrace doors, it is easy to combine indoor and outdoor spaces.
On the second floor there are four rooms that can accommodate from eight to ten people.

"Laivu māja" hall with fireplace
