The University of Latvia Recreation and Conference Complex "Ratnieki" is situated in the heart of scenic Vidzeme, approximately a one-hour drive from Riga. More than just an event venue, Ratnieki is a spacious recreation and conference complex surrounded by nature, offering the perfect balance between a professional working environment and a calm, inspiring atmosphere that brings people together. This is a venue where you can bring your ideas and dreams to life for events and occasions of all kinds.

Multifunctional indoor spaces and infrastructure - six historic buildings and conference rooms of various sizes, suitable for seminars, conferences, trainings, workshops, corporate events, and creative activities.

Large-scale event capacity - the territory is suitable for both small business events and large outdoor events with up to several thousand participants.
Accommodation options - 154 beds are available for comfortable overnight stays for event participants and guests.
Relaxation and well-being - a separate sauna building with a hot tub and a beautifully landscaped environment offers a relaxing experience after intense days; nearby, the Ratnieki nature trail provides a peaceful space for walks and recovery after events.

The complex is also a cultural and historical site connected to one of the most prominent representatives of Latvia’s industrial heritage during the first period of independence - Robert Hirsch (1895–1972), owner and director of the textile company "Rīgas Audums" and a benefactor of the University of Latvia, who bequeathed "Ratnieki" to the University of Latvia in 1972.

The large hall is located in one of the buildings of the complex - Stallis. It is 160 m2 in size, with high ceilings.

The hall is connected to a small balcony, where you can place additional seats or set up a small relaxation area.

Great Barn

The Great Barn is the most distinctive building of the complex and is located in a separate structure specially adapted for hosting events.

The hall covers an area of 400 m² and features high ceilings, creating a spacious and open atmosphere. At the front of the hall, there is a small stage of approximately 25 m² with a height of 0.5 m, suitable for performances, presentations, and speeches.

The Great Barn is well-suited for hosting a wide variety of events, from corporate gatherings and conferences to cultural and private celebrations.

Small Hall in the Manor House

The Small Hall in the Manor House is located on the ground floor of the building and consists of two interconnected rooms, one of which is a bright, glass-enclosed veranda.

The total area of the hall is 100 m², making it ideal for smaller events, celebrations, conferences, or seminars.
