Āgenskalns Market
Opened in 1898, Āgenskalns Market is the largest and oldest market on the left bank of the Daugava River and is recognised as a national cultural monument. Between 2018 and 2022, its historic market pavilion underwent an extensive renovation, transforming it into a modern destination for gastronomy, culture and events.
The historic pavilion and market courtyard provide a unique setting for conferences, seminars, corporate events, celebrations, concerts, exhibitions and other public or private events. The ground floor is home to local farmers and artisan producers, while the first floor features restaurants, cafés and event spaces.
For team-building events, the market's culinary studio RE_CEP_TE offers an excellent opportunity to organise interactive cooking workshops, masterclasses, tastings and other engaging activities.
To make event planning as convenient as possible, catering services, guided tours and tastings are available, along with access to trusted partners, including musicians, decorators, photographers and other event professionals.
