Ethnographic holiday lodge GUNGAS
Gungas Ethnographic Guest House is nestled in a pine forest on the shores of Lake Dūņezers, approximately 30 km from Riga city centre. Five authentic log houses, relocated from different regions of Latvia, combine historic charm with modern comforts, creating a distinctive setting for events and relaxation.
Gungas welcomes corporate events, seminars, training sessions, retreats and creative workshops, as well as weddings and private celebrations. Two event halls with fireplaces are available in Godu māja and Laivu māja, while the grounds offer space to hold part of your event outdoors by the lake.
Depending on your plans, you can rent a hall, individual houses or the entire property for a few hours or several days. On-site accommodation allows you to combine your event with a relaxing stay.
Gungas also welcomes celebrations of Latvian life milestones and seasonal festivities in an ethnographic setting, embracing local folk traditions. The guest house team will be happy to assist with planning your event.

On the first floor there is a hall with a fireplace and terrace, a fully equipped kitchen, as well as utilities. Thanks to the wide terrace doors, it is easy to combine indoor and outdoor spaces.
On the second floor there are four rooms that can accommodate from eight to ten people.
